Place your baby on firm bedding to sleep. Do not place your baby to sleep on fluffy or soft linens, sheepskin, or other soft surfaces.

Do not smoke around your baby. Do not allow others to smoke around your baby.

Do not let your baby get too hot. Dress your baby in as much or as little as you would wear.
